About the Job

United Micro is searching for a dedicated and tech-savvy student to join our IT Support team in Dresden. This role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week for a period of 6 months, offering an exceptional opportunity to gain practical experience in the IT support field.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborating on IT and IT infrastructure projects across multiple locations.
• Assisting in day-to-day IT operations.
• Participating in the implementation of IT solutions.
• Collaborating with international IT teams to address user-reported issues.
• Managing autonomous tasks such as setting up new computing equipment.
• Performing Lab Automation IT tasks.

Education and Experience

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or equivalent program and seeking to complete an internship.
• Technical proficiency in Linux, networking, and macOS/Windows. Knowledge of scripting and automation is advantageous. You demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Familiarity with generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) is desirable.
• Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English, with German language skills considered advantageous.
